shot in the dark, but when i got my grand prix back in the day, my BRAKE lights didn't work.

turns out it was the multifunction switch in the steering column. not sure if its the same on these trucks or not though.

ya well i tested my switch..or at least i thought i did....mine doesnt have the little 2 wire switch thing that hooks to the pedal. mine has a little black connector that has 4 wires on it. one has constant power and the other only has power when you press the brake pedal. so im assuming the sensor most work. but ya im not sure of what it could be.

i fixed mines yesterday, all that was wrong was one wire broke off from the terminals where you insert the plug, look good and check that all wires are attached properly. i dunno if this helps but it worked for me!

it was the wires which connect to the plug holes where the break switch plugs into.
