Running engine without steering fluid?
Will it hurt my power steering pump running it without any fluid?
Would it be better to plug the power steering lines?
I plugged the the lines, started up the truck and something just didn't sound right. I'm worried that running it plugged or empty will burn the pump up.
Thanks.

Though a membership at Gold's gym might be more cost effective.

That's why I plugged the lines, with full fluid in the reservoir. But it almost sounded like it was bogging down when I started the truck.
Will it hurt the pump or blow a seal running the pump with the line plugged and full on fluid?
