Running a speedo w/D60

So i was sitting down going over all the details to my axle swaps and i got to one part that i was stuck on. As of now i have no speedo yet because i never finished that part of the swap with the new motor. but I'm wondering what I'm going to have to do when i get the D60 in the rear. Like some who still have their ranger trannys will have it working still, but mine is measured at the rear axle(tone ring). Should i just try and go aftermarket speedo for the 5.0, or just say screw it? since the swap i have been basing my speed off of others and rpm's lol

I've never delt with an aftermarket speedo and how it hooks up, or if i can put one on my 99 5.0. Just lookn to see if any of you could help me figure out what i should do.

yeah I'm guessing its making a tone ring or modding one, or aftermarket gauge
