Scangauge Codes - Remaining Oil Life?

Anyone know the TXD, RXF, RXD, and MTH codes used to get the Remaining Oil Life Xgauge working?

Thanks!

I haven't heard of that one, did you get it off the website?

The Scangauge site has it in the PDF docs for GM models: http://www.scangauge.com/support/pdfs/XGAUGE.pdf, but I saw something about it in a post on here a little while back where someone reported they got it working in a Ranger. Couldn't find it when I searched, though. Seems like it should be possible, but may be wishful thinking. My wife's Merc Mountaineer has it in the console.

I've never seen it on here before, I don't see how it would work with our trucks.

I also don't see how it comes to that determination. What arbitrary values does it use to decide you need an oil change??

maybe you re-set it when you do an oil change and it merely keeps track of the mileage.

On the GM models that have that, the computer compensates for run time, mileage, revs ect. But in the owners manual it says it to change it at least one a year or something to that nature.

I figure it might not be the most accurate information, but would certainly be more accurate than the 3000 mile sticker they put in the window when you take it to get an oil change.
