scanguage II question

i just saw on the website that while using it as a scaning tool you can: Make and store up to 10 rewritable special codes to send to the vehicle computer.

does this mean i can store up to 10 different tunes in it?

I have one of those & I believe they mean that it can store 10 CEL (check engine light) codes.. It's, unfortunately, not a tuner.

scanguage is strictly a monitoring tool, not a tuner

A Scangage doesn't store codes, it only reads codes from the vehicle computer. What you may be thinking of is the feature (called Xgauge) that lets you program a new "gauge" to read a different aspect of operation. For instance, you can enter a code so that the Scangage will readout engine horsepower (unfortunately, it's about 20% optimistic).

More accurate info can be had at the Scangage website: http://www.scangauge.com/
