Shake when ya brake

I just had my rotors machined, with new brakes in the front and now the front end shakes when i brake at high speeds (freeway).

Could the shop screwed up when the machined them?
What should i do.... I feel I'm getting the run around and being screwed, because i know there going to say, get a suspension and alignment check.

WTF, I don't need another suspension and alignment check.
I getting sick and tired of fleet farm and my truck, it has never been off road so how can all this stuff worn out.

thanks to all

Mine does this too! but as far as I know I have stock rotors and pads in front.

I wonder If drilled rotors and new pads would fix it

Most likely, the rotors are warped and the machine shop didn't turn them properly. Either get new ones or take them to a trusted shop and have them checked.

Are you sure your friend and his girlfriend arent in the back gettin it on. j/k Its either your abs tryin to kick in or you got a warped rotor.

Worn wheel bearings or a loose tie rod end? I would check those too.

Oh and guide pins on the caliper.

....first of all did it do this before hand...second of all check all your bolts, if you leave something a lil loose youll get a vibration, if they turned the rotors wrong the front end could shake when braking, the pads may be screwed right from factory, id replace the rotors and check all connections and bolts, if that doesnt fix it warranty the pads too, if it still does it then you have a bigger issue, tie rod end, wheel bearing, ball joints, theres a few things upfront that could cause it..

You could have dirt between the rotor and the hub mounting surface. To disable to ABS you can pull the fuse.

i was getting a bad vibe from mine, it was a sticky park brake...

perhaps your rotors warped again? they will be more likely to warp once they have been machined.

warped drum perhaps?

*EDIT*

sorry, i guess i should learn to read better you said you have NEW rotors, and the FRONT END shakes. my bad!

The OP did not say what truck he has.

In case it is a 2WD truck, your rotors go on inner and outer wheel bearings. If these are not pre-loaded and tightened to specific torque, they will be loose and can cause the shake.

this is marks gf, lol my cobalt brakes used to shake when i would brake at low and highspeeds. The faster i was going the worst it shook. I bought brand new drilled and slotted rotors and mark installed them with new posi quiet ceramic pads and the shakes are now gone! Your rotors might be warped like mine were. Just replace them! find a good deal on ebay.

mine did the same thing, it was so annoying. i switched to powerstop slotted rotors with hawke HPS pads and the shaking is now gone, and this thing can stop on a dime now too. i was told it was from having a not agressive enough pad to scub the glazing off your rotors causing excess heat and hard spots on the rotor. when i took mine off i noticed the rotors were glazed in some spots and not in the others. i know they werent warped becuase i could not feel it in the pedal. having the proper pad for your vehicle makes a big difference.
