Side mirror switch compatibility

I have a 2002 with a bad power mirror switch. At least I think that's it; both sides don't rotate right.

I've looked for parts, and there are plenty that claim to be compatible with 2003-2007 Rangers, and those that claim compatibility with the 2001-2003 Explorer. Nothing, however, for the 2002 Ranger.

Anybody know
1. What's really the difference? (In other words, do either of these work with the 2002 Ranger?)
2. Any good sources for rare parts like this? (I know, Ford dealer and junkyard. I'm looking for the third way: lower cost than the former, lower risk than the latter parts.)

Edit: For just the switch a 98-05 will work not sure on the 06+.

The mirrors switched in 2006 to this style.

This is the style from 98-05

Or this one

Any of those will fit your truck. The 06+ mirrors will take a little modification to get them to fit. There is a How-To on the 06+ mirrors on the site. Click the link below.
