Signal Mirror Wiring Help

I recently purchased the thunderbolt signal mirrors and ran into a problem wiring them. the wires the instructions said to tap into for each side were incorrect. the driver-side ended up being always on and the passenger-side being on with ignition.

So...my question is can someone tell me what color wires i need to be tapping into for each side signal? For reference my ranger is a 2003.

Where did you get the mirrors and how much did they cost you? Wonder if they will fit a 2008?

Thanks

George

Left mirror: light green/white
Right mirror: white/light blue

These can be tapped anywhere between the turn signal switch (Multifunction Switch) and the front turn signal bulbs. A convenient place might be the harness on the left side of the steering column.

Muth makes signal and signal/heat kits for the 2006~2008 Ranger/Explorer/Mountaineer mirrors but they are not cheap.

Or.....you can do the "blinker mod", and just tap into your jumper wire. That's what I did to mine and HarryTasker's.
