steering column creeking
steering column creeking
when ever i move the steering wheel it creeks very loudly and noticable. It seems to be inside the cab, is there anywhere that requires grease in my steering column, or can i take apart the plastic and WD-40 it and see if that helps?
I'm anxious to see the results of this because I have the same issue. Although I fear it just may be the notorious squeeking of the Ford power steering pumps, and the noise is just noticeable in the cab as well.
well if it is the power steering pump then im gonna take it to ford and tell them to fix it cuz im still under warranty, but they just replaced the power steering pump a month ago because it broke in the desert
Was it creeking before you had the pump replaced? If not, I'd take it back to Ford and have them check it out.
I'd say thats your best bet, especially since they just got done working with it and the noise is from the region in which they were working. Make sure to let us know what it turns out to be diagnosed as.
didnt i just see you at the bay wash place making your engine all shiny? ahah freaking Gary
