thinking about getting h.i.d's

Just as the title states im thinking about getting hid's. I would like to know some input on what brand is reliable and decently priced. Also i had a vehicle i bought off someone that had "hid" bulbs like you see in parts stores and they melted the bulb harness plugs, im assuming because they got too hot will true hid conversions do this?

Universal heavy duty HID Relay wiring harnessThis HID relay wiring harness is an important component in HID lighting systems. It enables you to power the hid kit directly from your vehicle's battery terminals. This prevents drawing higher current from your car than it can actually provide. HID relay harness’ ensures full voltage stability to your hid kit and your vehicle's electrical system. This small investment could save you hundreds of dollars in the long run.Specially recommended if two or more kits will be installed in one car.DRL Issue? If your DRL (day time running light) shares with your low beam circuit, it may cause your hid to flicker or not work properly due to lack of power supporting your hid system. Using a relay harness will support your hid system with full power directly from the battery itself.- Only 1x relay harness needed for each hid conversion kit system. <----this is something i found on hidkits.com i think was the site, is this really needed?

A standard HID kit only runs at 35w. Your stock bulbs run at around 55w. There is no need for a relay harness or anything. All you need is a simple Plug and Play kit. PM me for more details and some purchasing info
