Towing With My Truck?

Hey guys, I have a question. My friend blew his motor and he needs to get his van back home and he doesn't have the money for a tow truck right now. My girlfriend's dad has a tow bar in his shed but my truck doesn't have a ball hitch. (It's the 1993 Chevrolet K1500 Tow Package) but the previous owner removed the bumper and put on a roll pan (woo ) Is there any.. safe way I could tow the van home? I have a tow strap, and I just don't know exactly what I could do. It's about at 15 minute drive from where the van is to back home. It's all back roads so I'm not overly concerned about speed or anything (10-20Kmph works fine for me). Any ideas? Or is this just something thta'll have to be done with a tow truck?

ALSO I guess on that note is there any way to hook up a tow hitch on a truck that has a roll pan? Like somewhere I could hook up an adapter so I could take out the hitch when I'm not using it and put it back in when I want it? Kind of like what I see some people here have?

Truck is lifted 2" with 35"s.

Use the tow strap. Make sure the guy in the van is trust worthy or youll have a bit of van shoved in your roll pan lol. And if the strap interferes with the roll pan, Id go with Ranger Daves idea and pull it backwards if it needs to come home right now. Or find a friend with a truck and trailer.

remove the roll pan and hook a strap to the frame that way you dont damage the rollpan, or find a bigger truck and trailer

Well, I think I'll take off my roll pan and hook it to the frame and see what happens. This'll be interesting for sure.
