I have a 97' STX ranger with the 4.0l. The "T" adapter to plug in trailer wiring pigtail wont fit if i have buy the one for my year. I have to buy the 89 to 95 or something like that model. I'm ok with that but the things burn out almost as soon as i tow anything. Why is this ? no wires are cut its a factory adapter. Is there any other way to get trailer lights ?

 

you dont have to buy a t thing go to walmart and get a trailer wire kit you will have to tap into brake lights
