It's happened twice now. About a month ago, i was driving with traffic, stopped for a redlight, made my left turn, and right as i got thru the intersection, the truck just suddenly cut out on me. my radio and everything were still on. there was no studdering or anything, it was as if i just pulled the key out while driving or something. anyway.. i put it in park, started the truck up again, and it drove fine.. no check engine light or anything. the truck ran perfectly normal again, so i never did anything about it.

now, about a month later, just the other day, the same exact thing happened. i mean, same exact thing. i was at a red light.. made my left turn.. got just thru the intersection, and bam.. the truck was dead again (except the electonics, etc.). niether time did i jump on the gas to beat traffic or anything (both times i had a green arrow, so there was no need).

i told my dad about it because now it's making me a little concerned.. he told me to stop making left-hand turns.

anyone have any idea what might be going on???? to this day the truck is runing perfectly fine, with the exception of those 2 times.

 

Fuel pump/filter?

 

Loose battery cable? Check all your connections, especially your grounds.

 

Mine did when i had the modded MAF in..

Once i got my Pro-M, it was fine. Try taking that JET Chip out for a while.

 

normally its one of 2 things.
Bad contact between an aftermarket performance chip and the computer.
Or mine did it once when i hit the remote start on the keychain by accident while driving lol.

i was thinking it was the chip.. jet gives you basically a piece of tape that you're supposed to wrap around the chip and computer to help hold the chip in better.. i was figuring it was falling out or something. i can rule out the remote starter and maf mod cause i dont have either one. i didnt think it would be anythign with the battery since everythign else stayed on (lights, stereo, etc). anyway.. im gonna go take my computer out and take a look at the chip, see how it's holding up. thanks guys!
