turn signal/heater problem?

ok im having a strange electrical issue
when the engine is running the left turn signal and the heater will not work at the same time. with the engine off they will work together, but the heater kind of surges like the turn signal is robbing power every time it blinks. while driving this morning my heater just cut out and then it came back on. One morning about two weeks ago I was driving to work and the engine shut off, so I pulled over and turned the ignition off and then it fired up again. anyone have any ideas about whats going on? this sucks because I was going to install my ohc today, but thought maybe I should put that on hold
btw I checked the bulb and it is good
checked battery and alternator with my voltmeter and they are fine.

Unfortunately nothing comes to mind right off. If it was the right turn signal I'd say it might be the ground on the inner right fender. However, I don't think it would cause the engine to stop.

ok, maybe I will check on that ground, it does seem to be an intermittent problem, so Im thinking maybe a short or a ground issue, i also noticed that is has affected the windshield wipers as well, does anyone know if these things are all on the same circuit?
As far as the engine dying, it happened again this morning, and I realized that both times it has happened, I have started the truck by remote start, and it died at almost exactly the same spot on my way to work, so Im thinking this is an issue with the alarm, and might possibly be affecting the other things as well.

Well, there is a ground on the left fenderwell that has like three wires run to it from a factory wire loom, an it was loose, so I tightened it back up and seems like the problem with the heater turn signal etc. is gone and the truck is running much better. The bad thig is a cel light came on last night, Auto zone pulled the codes P0171, P0172 so now I have to figure out exactly what is causing it.
