Friend gave me a Flowmaster...should I?
I was talking to a friend today and we were talking about my truck. He was complimenting the new wheels and all and then we started talking about exhaust. Well he pulls out this and says I can have it:
He wasn't sure what kind it was, but he did know that it was double cylinder, seems like me mentioned something about "Delta". Anyone know which seies it is from the pic?
I was pondering just having my stock muffle removed and replaced with this...opinions?

I have 40 series Delta flows on my Cougar. I made this video a while back to display sound. No theres no racing or anything like that, but it gives you an idea of how it sounds during normal driving.
Yeah i know, i know. Its a different car, with no cats and a V8 but still, my delta flows with full exhaust was perfect for both loudness, and comfort in my car. I had 50 series on this car before and it was too quiet, and i had regular 40 series on my old Galaxie that was dumped and it was STUPID loud and rattled the whole car.
Ive had lots of Flowmasters in my time. The 40 Series Delta Flows have been my fave Flowmasters for a street car by far.

i think for a car with a v8 (depending on app of course) the 40 delta is perfect. i much prefer it over a OG 40. now for smaller displacment trucks, i think the 50 series is great. they tend to not be too ricy and still keep a drivable scence to them. however i think that a 40 delta will be simialar in this case. enough to hear but not too much in the cab.
its also going to help with resinance if you pur it slightly behind the cab like oem mufflers.
