Weird Sound!
Hi, All,
91 Ford Ranger, 4.0 4x4. It has developed a really weird sound that for the life of me sounds like an exhaust leak. Coming to a stop, we hear it, and when the vehicle stops, and the engine is at idle, the noise carries on for a few seconds (5?) before just fading away. As the car has stopped, and the engine speed stays constant, I do not believe it to be engine or drive train. Anyone else experience this?
