I have a 2005 Ford Ranger XLT stock minus wheels tires and leveling kit.
My main question is I have some weird sounds when I start it out sometimes, not everytime but it only on occasion. I thought it was the belts because they were cold but I heard it could be bearings but idk.
I can't really impersonate the sounds but it's only when it starts up
I was curious if anyone knew more about it or they have had the same problems etc.
PLEASE need feedback.

I get an odd sound once in a while at start up.... I don't know how to explain it though!

mine makes a thud once in a while. i think it's just something in the drivetrain settling.

 

I'll take a video, it's more like a ticking. I heard it may be an exhaust leak?
