Hi Everyone, new guy here. Just bought a 2002 Ranger XLT with 160k. Drives really good and no major issues.... yet. Anyway, I'm replacing fluids, etc and saw this hose which is really brittle. Need to replace it but don't have clue what it is. I'm no mechanic, but this should be something I can replace easily. Can anyone help me identify what it is? Muchas Gracias.
I believe that goes to the vapor purge valve. that hose on my '02 3.0L was crumbling also. I bought some 3/8" ID silicone hose to replace it and zip tied to hold it on. No problems so far.
