as you guys may know my air is messed up. i have hot and cool air but it will only blow out of the defrost vent. when i have the air on cold and move the selector to ac is gets colder than say when its on defrost. i was told the black ball underneather the coolan resvoir probaly has a leak or is cracked. all the vacuum lines are hooked to my knowledge. i just need to know the name of the black plactic ball so i can call and get a price on it.
thanks

if i was you id try to find the leak first, there are a few methods, one is to get a buddy who smokes and have him blow smoke into the engine compartment, and youll see it getting sucked in. this doesnt work if the fan is running, so it may not work for you. the other is to get something flammable, like brake or carb cleaner, and with the truck running, spray around all the vaccuum connections. when the revs go up, theres your leak
