Hello:
I am replacing my cruise control switches and went to remove the two 8 mm bolts for the airbag, and there were two security nuts instead. See pictures. I was able to remove one with a HF security bit set, but the other looks like a spanner nut?

is this something the dealer would do if they needed to replace a blown airbag? Bizarre??



Spanner nut? #12 or 14??? Something I don’t have…
