Hey guys this is my first time on here, so I hope I’m in the right spot lol.
I got a 92 4.0l 4x4 auto ranger about a year ago, recently the trans has taken a dump on me and the shop wants 1600$ to rebuild my trans.
one of my buddies has a clapped out 87 2.9l manual 4x4 ranger he would sell to me for 500$….would it be worth it to just save an rebuild it or swap it for the manual??? Just wondering if it’s even possible.
