Will a complete over head console from a 95-01 explorer work in a 2007 ranger?

 

it will, they changed the headliner slightly so its a little harder to get it to sit perfect, but it fits

I only ask because i dont see any overhead kits for later than 2001 on ebay, im assuming that was the last year they may have used that type of overhead so 'thats what im left with'.

does anyone know of a later overhead that exists?

 

There are the 2' OHC's found in the ford minivans that will go in the rangers, BUT I personally wouldnt do it. It is 2' long, drops down about an inch or so throughout and 80% of it is useless. For looks its ok, but watch your head if you lean toward the passenger!!
