Windshield wiper issue

Hello. I Have a 95 ranger splash. Wipers in off position on ms switch and the wipers come on ever few seconds. Bought a new multifunction switch and problem still exist. Pulled the relays and cleaned them also pulled the cap off the motor and cleaned this contacts as well and still the same issue. Any other thoughts? Thanks.

That is really strange. But may be its a loose connection somewhere.

Could be a problem with the fuse? Here's a wiper troubleshooting link I found, it says "There is a possibility that the fuse in your car is malfunctioning. The fuse is the safety device that breaks the electric circuit if it exceeds the safe level. If your fuse blows then there will be no way to stop the electricity from reaching the windshield wipers." Windshield Wiper Blades Won't Turn Off - Auto Repair - Seva Call Blog Hope it helps though.

Wiper issue

thanks I will try that. It's like I crank the truck with the multifunction switch off and the wipers comes across once and park then every 5 seconds they make another pass.
