Had a problem with the linkage to the wipers disconnecting where it connects to the wiper motor cam/shaft. I got it back together and moved the RETAINING CLIP in numerous directions until the linkage seemed locked into position on the wiper motor shaft. First I tried moving the clip left and right without success then I pushed the clip towards the windshield and it seemed to lock into position. My question is: Do these clips get worn and unlock themselves or was this a freak occurance? I'm not ruling out neighbors playing a prank and tampering with it. Thanks Mike
