Wire or hose I.d?
Anyone know where these gray and black lines run to? Notices that the black line was melted off and hanging too close to the front passenger tire. 1996 4.0 manual for reference

I believe they are vacuum lines for HVAC controls. Check your A/C and heater functions.

thanks for the info bro, the a/c doesn’t work but It’s been out of commission for a while. So I’m guessing they aren’t necessary?
