Icon5 Wiring PATS into non-pats vehicle

I recently swapped a 2000 pats explorer 4.0 sohc into a 1998 non- pats ranger that had a 3.0 in it. The truck will start and run good with the 3.0 pcm but throws a code for lack of o2 sensor in bank 1 and the transmission seems to only have 4 gears. I am wanting to put the explorer steering column in as well as wire the pats into the truck. Im sure it has been done before but am looking for a little info on the procedure. Im not sure how much was changed between the years but I have a wiring manual for a 2000 ranger and a 1999 explorer. Any help or input is greatly appreciated.

Why not use the expo computer and a programmer to remove pats then keep the keys the same?

I was considering that. Although I wouldn't mind a bit of a performance upgrade, wiring in the pats would practically be free. A tuner on the other hand is gonna set me back a few hundred.

The 2000 Ex donor can supply the PATS Module (inside the dash forward of the PS airbag), PATS Transceiver (on the column), PATS Transponder keys w/ matching lock and the PCM. The schematic is in the 99 Ex Wiring Manual, Section 112.
