Xcal 2 still programmable?
Yes, why wouldn't they be able to?
As long as the xcal2 is unloaded and unlocked, anyone should be able to email you tunes and you can upload them yourself. If it is locked than you will have to send it in.

Epic win on the pic, Jake.
lol.
Yeah...I suggest Fred @ Rogue Performance. GREAT customer to tuner communication. Can take a day or so for him to respond to emails, but at least he actually responds. Something that cannot be said about Doug at Bamachips.

Workin' on it. lol. Got my prelim starting tune in the truck now. Don't want to put out the money yet for the full new tunes and such. But I've been in touch with Fred for some time now. Doing the same thing you'll be doing.
I have the Xcal 2 and I love it. Im running 91 torque right now and I couldn't be happier with it. I'm really going to like it here soon when I get my new tires put on so I can calibrate the speedo.
But you need to make sure any tunes have been deleted and the tuner has been "unlocked". If the previous owner of the xcal2 at least returned their vehicle to stock, you should be able to delete and unlock it using software on the computer.
For what it's worth, at least with my working with Fred, he sent me the SCT software then the tune files. Use the software to clear the tunes, upload the tunes, make changes, etc. I like how mine still says 'Rachel's Xcal2 by Bamachips' when I plug it into the truck. hahaha.
You can personally load whatever tunes onto it that you want. You could have an F150 tune, a ranger tune, and a super duty tune on it technically. You will only be able to have 1 loaded from the programmer at a time though.
i agree with shane, fred did the tuning on my xcal and he is great to deal with. ive talked to him several times since than with questions about tuning and such. the tunes i got from him have been great.
