XCAL3 recal ?

Ok so i gotta an XCAL3 from Yessick on here awhile ago. Yes its was put back to stock when i bought it so it doesn't need to be unlocked. His truck was a 3.0 and mine is a 4.0. My question is, is when i pay to have it recal'd to my truck and enter all my info and blah blah blah, do i have to mail the programmer in or does doug send it via email? I sent him an email mths ago and no response and im not complaining because i hear he's like super busy but was wondering if anyone has gone through this process and can help me along a lil on the proper way to handle it, now that im ready to get it done. Thanks!!

an x3 that has been returned to stock can be changed over without sending it in.

Its generally $100 to do it which includes the tunes for your truck.

Its just a standard USB link cable, the same as the one for my printer.

Believe the tuner(the person writing your tunes) sends you the SCT software download which you use to update your Xcal. Believe you'll need a normal USB cord as well. I have yet to do it to my Xcal2 that's been sitting for over a year. lol.
