Anyone want to make me a set of these? I will gladly pay. I have ZERO luck separating lens 'so I REALLY dont want to FAUK up a new set of lights

01RangerEdge Nov 19, 2015 06:37 PM

Dang, I can't believe how old this thread is. 3 years later, I own those tails lol

Diesel_Brad Nov 19, 2015 06:46 PM

So I guess nobody wants to make a set

Diesel_Brad Nov 27, 2015 05:00 PM

I am curious as to what brand light you used.

I have a set of eagle eyes and have broken 3 pieces off so far after baking for 40-50 min

EDIT: yeah an HOUR worth of heating and I have 4 pieces broken off and the glue hasn't budged one bit

01RangerEdge Nov 27, 2015 08:18 PM

I think the TYC brand is the only one that has worked for anyone

Good to know. Maybe that should of been put in the "how to"

01RangerEdge Nov 28, 2015 07:15 AM

That wasn't known at the time this was made, this was figured out later when other people were attempting it.

As long as you get them from Certifit you'll be good. They have TYC

Again, more useful info too little too late

01RangerEdge Nov 28, 2015 01:52 PM

You're looking at an old thread, there have been more recent threads that this info has been covered.

Maybe you should try asking questions BEFORE you do the work.

Please, show me more threads on this process. My search come up with nothing.

I found this thread thru a google search, considering when I search here "06 taillight" NOTHING comes up

01RangerEdge Nov 29, 2015 08:35 AM

The process is the same no matter where the light comes from, TYC lights are just easier.

Either way it's going to be difficult, taillights are mcuh harder to take apart than headlights

Diesel_Brad Nov 29, 2015 08:54 AM

I would just like to see the other thread(s) that recommend TYC
