I'm not 100% sure if this will work, but I have one from a 98 or 99 Explorer.

I have a non tach one from my 95. two of the needles are missing, but i may have some extras laying around (i really should). it's from my 95 4.0 5 speed. that shouldn't make a difference though. it does have an auto gear selector plate, but you can use your manual one with no problem. i'll get a pic of it tonight when i get home.
also, the ex one should work. i have one from an 01 in my truck now. all i had to do was swap the my original temp gauge to the new cluster. no other repinning. and now that i say that, i bet the cluster above doesn't have the right temp gauge.
have you tried the ex one yet? what problems did you have?
