FS - Lincoln MkVIII E-Fan (SoCal)

I dont have any pics of it up right now, but its an eletric fan off of a Lincoln Mark VIII. These things pull a TON of air and are relatively compact. I know tons of people use the Taurus fans and stuff, but i thought id post this here to see if anyone is interested. The Fox Mustang guys use these fans sometimes for their own conversions so its a start.

IIRC, they can pull over 3000cfm, they have an intergrated shroud of course, and are a two speed fan. Ive had it for a while for a car i sold, so screw it. Im tired of being a pack rat (not really, but time to thin it out a little).

Not sure what its worth to be honest. I think i paid $30 out of a junkyard a few years ago. It does function. I have test leads on a pigtail hooked up to it and it fires up when hooked to a battery.

It looks like this one, if anyone is interested i can take pics tomorrow. Im in bed and lazy right now.

The Mark VIII fan shroud is around 18.5" tall x 22" wide (without the mounting tabs). Using custom brackets and turned 90 degrees from the original Lincoln orientation, the shroud can be adapted to fit between the end tanks of a Ranger radiator.

The blade is approximately 18" diameter driven by a two speed motor and flows 4500+ CFM on the high speed circuit.

At about 6", the stock depth at the motor is greater than many aftermarket fans. If necessary, the shroud can be trimmed to bring that dimension down to 5 1/4".

you sir are correct on the measurements.

heres what i got

22 inches wide (without tabs, they are assymetrical, so it was hard to get an idea... add about 1.5 inches per side for the tabs roughly)

18 7/8 tall

I got around 5 inches thick at the motor. I could be off there, i will recheck seeing as you say 6 inches. It wasnt the most level surface and i didnt have a straight edge.

The fan was 18 inches itself.

No pics yet, but if you want i can take some. Ill take a vid of it running if you wish. this thing pulls a ton of air though.
