I have a 1995 Ford Ranger 3.0 Extended cab. The Airbag code flashes 12 and then stays on. I can't seem to find
anything on Ranger-Forums and wanted to see if anyone here might be able to suggest things to look for.
Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a real service manual. Can't find any thing to help diagnose this code 12. I was driving and then smelled smoke in cabin. Now code 12. Control module on passenger kick panel has yellowish plastic raincoat over it. Upper corner of this looks discolored (heat?). Opening doesn't show anything visually fried, (no thermal housing). Harnesses don't show damage or corrosion. BUT, while I was here I noticed windshield has been leaking on this side. Replacing glass and gonna try to find a junk yard module.
