Ok so I finally bought one of the Sport white face clusters. I know people have asked this question a 1,000 times probably....and I have done some research...But I want to know what all needs to be changed to use in my 96 Ranger. I read the the oil temp sending unit needs to be swapped.....If anybody has the Pin layout(EVTM page) they can send to me that would be great also. Thanks in advance for your info.

 

the only thing i did to put one in my 95 was swap the water temp gauge, and rest the speedo (regeared and tire size). that was it. currently have an 03 ranger silver cluster in by doing the same swap.

Ok so I hooked up the 2001 Cluster tonight without changing anything and all the Gauges work fine....Temp Gauge works perfect!

 

cool. some people have to swap, others don't. haven't found a reason for the difference. glad it worked!

 

do you know if i get a gauge cluster form a truck or suv that has a tach to replace mine that dose not have one with out. The reason i ask is bc my 1995 ex has a tach my ranger is a 1998
