2004+ Cruise Control Leds
Do the 04 cruise control pods disassemble the same as earlier models? I got my LEDs to do the install today! Now just the cluster and OHC left to make blue.

couldnt you just solder new ones on?
They do work but I haven't done them. They are #74 bulbs. I'm going to take all the green off and solder in 20 360 degree bulbs like JP did. The reason I didn't solder them in is b/c tiny is an understatement. They are little square leds. I'm not even sure what kind of bulb I could fit onto it.
No not yet. I'll probably wait until the spring semester is over before I start. I tend to rush and mess up things, so I'm not going to start until I have alot of time on my hands. Let me know if you figure out how to do it.
from your description, they sound like surface mount LEDs. Can you post up a picture of the circuit board, so we can be sure?
if they are surface mount LEDs, they certainly can be replaced or switched out to a different color, etc... it's just not as straightforward as the already established LED mod.. and soldering/unsoldering SMT (surface mount technology) LEDs is no walk in the park for folks that have not done a lot of that sort of work; it (often) requires special equipment and techniques to effect repairs/modifications on SMT circuit boards.
