2006 Ranger STEERING WHEEL ADAPTER

I want to put my Grant steering wheel on my 2006 Ranger. Im not sure which, if any, Grant adapters fit? Some say up to the 97 year. Thanks for the help, and spare me the airbag lecture.

yeah, thats what I was thinking. If it fits the 01, it should fit models after that. I just wanted someone to chime in.... to be sure. someone has to have a part number...

Okay, according the guys on RPS forums, a 92 and later Ranger adapter (w/ splines) will fit the current Ranger.

Im not a kid, and Im not sure how to take that comment. Im actually an automotive tech. If you knew how airbags worked, or if you've seen one explode- trust me- they do more harm then good. then again, I also feel that every vehicle should have 4 point harnesses. so, like I said, lets not turn this into an airbag debate.

Anyways, I do agree with others.. newer steering wheels will fit on a 95+ ranger, so I dont see why that 97 adapter wouldnt work, good luck man

ive got a 97, i had to trim a little off the inside of my adapter so it would fit over a lip but it worked and the guy from jbs power said it would work all the way up to brand new.

i used the grant adapter for my 97 with an apc wheel, told they would work all the way up, make sure your adapter works with the wheel you choose though, they are not all the same.

I will look for that adapter then. I see on grants website that they have one for upto '94. I will assume that its the same adapter for '97, and thus to '06. PN 3288. thanks for the help.

Well, I the Grant 3288 adapter arrived yesterday, and it's the wrong one. It doesn't have any splines on it. Once I figure out which one is correct, I will post the number.
