97 explorer roof leak.

Have a 97 explorer 4 door no sun roof and when it rains it leaks water from somewhere near the drivers side. Can't tell where its coming from. Im going to take the headliner out right now and see whats up but any input is greatly appreciated.

pull the headliner and run a garden hose over the roof. you'll find it. could be a bolt hole for the luggage rack if you have one.

you do realize this is an explorer and the third brake light is in the way way back lol. I figured it out it was the weather stripping on the driver door and the windshield seal.
