99 SuperCab - dropping the headliner fpr OHC install
Fixing to install the OHC, lighted visors and mirror I scored last weekend from a CFC 94 Exploder in my 99 SuperCab - and it looks like dropping the headliner would make it REALLY easy to do. Would minimize the potential to break/bend the headliner while trying to work around it, etc.
And it looks like the A-pillar trim just snaps in and there's some (pop-out?) fasteners holding the B-pillar and rear seat area trim in place.
Any thoughts? What am I missing? Is there a better way to do it - "it" being get access to the area where I've gotta run wires and connections etc?
And be able to get it back in place looking un-touched (no creases, wrinkles or what-ever in the headliner.
Thanks

By the way - if you've not been in your local "pic-a-part" boneyard since CFC - you're really missing out!!! Lots of great cars and parts to pick from! (I paid under $40 bucks for everything including the harness and temp sensor from up front by the radiator.)

I wouldnt bother dropping the head liner. If you take your time and you can trace a line, you'll be fine lol. the A-Pillar does just have snap clips that hold it in so just pull it and it will come off without a problem. only thing i removed was the drivers side A-pillar to run the wires but thats it.

WHAT did you guys use to fish wires from the OHC to the A-pillar? I used my dipstick lol.
Yeah, I originally planned to drop the entire headliner and then realized it wouldn't be faster or easier. Cutting out the hole for the OHC was the easiest part of the job for me. I imagine it would actually be harder to make the hole with the headliner out.
