Is this the right one ? looks to match it. I dont have a tilt steering wheel so maybe ill luck out with ahveing to cut much ehre and there, any suggestion for what other gauge I should get. My crrest cluster, the stock one dosnt have a tach, maybe i should pick up one of the mini tach's ? trans/oil on there way with a dual a pillar.

Edit* nevermind as I look none of those tach's will fit, I may stick to my original plan of just finding a new instrument cluster, one with a tach and fuel light and all the little things I dont have.

get a water temp gauge or a oil pressure gauge......you can get a cluster with a tach in it and it will bolt right into your truck with no problems....and work...

Ill go ahead with the water temp gauge.

Column and gauge on its way ! sheesh...

I've ordered new mirrors/foglights/radio bezel (still bidding) instrument cluster (still bidding ) Oil pressure/Trans temp and water temp gauges along wit the pods, crank pulley and the paint for it today :)

sorry to bring up this thread but does anyone know if this will fit an 08.( no tilt and 5 speed auto)

we installed in my friends 03 without trouble but mine looks different.

i would like to get this to install my trans temp gauge.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

lifted97ranger 09-04-2007 11:43 AM

yea it should fit fine.....

greygooseranger 09-04-2007 12:53 PM

I want to install one in my truck, but I have a manual, so that hole for the auto shifter would look fugly....

lifted97ranger 09-04-2007 12:59 PM

Bill R. (04lvl2) installed one from a Mustang (i believe) in his manual Ranger.....fit just as nice as the F-150 fits......

you might also be able to find them for a manual F-150....

the 2000 pillar pods should work on your 05, they havn't changed the ranger since 1993

I was thinking of getting one of those vdp visor shelves and mounting gauges up there on the drivers side in my new st.
