SEMs is usually sold at Auto Paint Store, we have a Crown Automotive (strictly auto paint) close buy me in that little village in the North, but any good Auto Paint Store should carry it.
The big thing about SEMs is that they maintain their colors batch to batch, so you can get a can today and go back for more in a week and still have the same color; that’s a biggy.
Price on the SEMs is a stopper but you get what you pay for.

Red_Ak_Ranger.
What color are you thinking on, blk or silver.
I was thinking along the Silver line for the Radio Bezel and some small trim pieces but not sure of the exact color or SEMs number.

his came out way too shiny. for the cloth pieces, i'd wrap them in black vinyl. easy to do. go back to your 31 vs 33 thread you started. you'll see what i posted there.

I used bulldog adhesion promoter first, then applied SEM, although I used a different type of SEM and ordered it all through Eastwood. I used around 10 cans on my interior. This was back in 2006 though, still holds up great 6 years later. All mine ever is covered in mud and pressure washed. lol

I've heard your interior looks awesome multiple times lol. How many cans of adhesion promoter did you use, if you remember?

idk about awesome, but i am really impressed how well it has held up. Its getting beat up now but if I touched some of it up it would look like new again.

I probably used 3-4 cans of that promoter. I did a lot more dis-assembly than the pics from this thread.

they'll fit if you swap the ranger swivel onto the mustang swivel. Ranger is 3 screws not two

You don't want anything to flake or peel on the dash. or on any interior parts. Use quilty SEM products and this will look OEM like Beards.

I am going to use sem I was asking why so many cans of promoter, with a adhesive promoter you only should be using one coat of it on everything and 4 coats of paint is about 4-5 can s so why so many cans of promoter ? Earlier in the thread he said 4-5 cans of promoter I would think it would take less promoter than paint since the promoter only takes one coat

The stuff doesn't last very long and considering you have to do the entire cab it will take a few.you can buy a combo pack on Amazon for $30.

So I am going to do my headliner in black and figured I would do the back pillars/ a pillars and grab handle in black and find black sun visors so it wouldn't look so odd.

Problem is there are many blacks by Sems:

Amazon.com: SEM Products 15243 Satin Black Color Coat - 12 oz.: Automotive Amazon.com: SEM Products 15243 Satin Black Color Coat - 12 oz.: Automotive

Amazon.com: SEM 15013 Landau Black Color Coat - 12 oz.: Automotive Amazon.com: SEM 15013 Landau Black Color Coat - 12 oz.: Automotive

Amazon.com: SEM 39143 Trim Black Aerosol - 15 oz.: Automotive Amazon.com: SEM 39143 Trim Black Aerosol - 15 oz.: Automotive

I am thinking more satin black due to the black that is on the door handle and the gauge cluster/radio trim...etc. Seems all stock blackness in the truck is not sihny?

Thanks,
-Nigel

Go with a semi gloss or satin. I did mine in a gloss and it was stupid. Looked good but satin is the way to go. Make it look factory not like gloss black spray paint. Lol.
