bar to mount racing harness on... need ideas

ok I just want to do a single tube bar that runs across the back of my cab to mount my 4 point racing harnesses on.

what is the easiest way to do this and make it... and for little money.
where would I mount it and what would I have to drill through without make it look crappy?

anyone with pics would help too!

Thanks, i wanna get this done tomorrow probably

I just want to run a single bar across at like should height

i was going to use metal plumpin pipe with like the circle flat flanges screwed on at the ends. i just need to know where to screw the flanges onto the side of my truck so the screws dont go through and show outside

ummmm you really use the "racing" harness as a seatbelt that this IS NOT SAFE!!!!!! take it out NOW!........i don't care if i am an ***, i am trying to save you life.......that will rip out off the floor in a collision....crap i bet it flexes big time in hard breaking........

x2 that is not SAFE at all. you need to have someone professional build you a seatbelt bar. Plus it doesnt look tall enough. The bar needs to be 10-15* lower then your shoulders.

This is your life you talking about, there is a reason those materials are made for plumbing and not fabrication. Please for your sake take that out and have a proper one made.
