Bench Seats
Bench Seats
Hey guys,
I'm brand new to this site, and fairly new to American trucks, so if this is not where this questions would go, or if this is a simple/stupid question, please have patience with me. I can learn, eventually.
I have a 1991 Ford Ranger XLT. Currently it has the two seats up front, with the center console. I am wanting to replace that with a bench seat. Can I remove the console, and install a bench seat? If so, what kind of labor is involved, and what would the cost be?

it should be fairly simple if you find a bench from the same gen/configuration truck as yours. simply unbolt your seats and console then bolt in the bench.

it will be a direct swap if you have a reg cab. if you have an ext cab, the front two holes will line up, but the back two will not. you would have to drill new holes. you will need a set of bench seat tracks from a 92 and older truck.
