So I got a full console today and need to move my CB. I currently have it here:



I thought about putting it inside, but I won't be able to hear it that good and it will be kinda a pain to use it. Any one have any ideas?

 

put it inside and get an external speaker....

 

But then where would I put the speaker?

 

do you have a pic of the expy console? i have seen some with a tissue dispenser, maybe you could route the speaker up in there...

or put the speaker up under the dash aimed toward your feet...

See mines bigger than yours so I doubt it will fit there. I would want it flush mounted even if it could. I think I'm gonna mount it on the back of the console, where the radio controls are but I'll see once I actually get the console.

but anyways mount it in the console some how and then put the external wherever you want because if you get one like mine its got a 6 foot lead on it so technically you can put it where ever, put it under the dash below the steering wheel.

I see you bought the one off of carolinasled. Are you going to keep the red flower design on the armrest? I think you should would make your truck look purrty!

If thats what I think it is then theres no way my CB will fit there, I was looking at it tonight. Mounting it on the side is becoming a strong possibility.

 

Mike that place where you mounted the speaker is where the tissues comes out. there is supposed to be a holder for the box in the console inside

 

lol so that's what that hole is for.

 

yep if you open the console lid there should be a thing up front inside that sides out and holds a flat rectangle style kinda like so
