Looks good! I really like the newer style console, I used to have one when my truck was an automatic.

Which Ford consoles fit into a 2005 Ranger?

I've read a post where a guy found a junkyard Explorer console and said it worked great.

The coin dispenser is so ancient looking.

 

I believe the full length consoles from 1995 thru 2001 are a direct fit. Front of console matches up with the lower dash with no modification.
I'm in process of trying to locate on now for my 2009. Checking e-bay, facebook for sale, ect. No rush for me, so haven't started to check salvage yards yet.

The console shown in this thread is the newer style, used around 99-01. In my opinion, it's a little more desirable since the cupholders are more useful in these compared to the basically useless cupholders in the old style.
