Does the Ranger Full Length Console come in two pieces ?

Can the back half of the Console be used as a Shorty Console ?

I have found a full length Blk Ranger Center Console but do not need the front but am uncertain if the back half is a std shorty.

The full length consoles come apart for mounting. A person could use the back half alone, but it would be unfinished in the front as it is supposed to be used in conjunction with the front half.

 

where in the hell did you find a full ranger console?

 

From the pic I have seen and it is only the FS Pic, the front half looks finished.
It looks the same as an early Explorer Console or similar to the one in my wife’s Navajo.

 

I am not even sure that it is a Ranger Console but the ad says so.
It is a little different than the Full Explorer Units so I am thinking it might be.
the back half as I said before looks like a 1st gen explorer unit.

 

The back half of the full length consoles I have seen have a hole in the front where the cup holders would normally go. There isn't anything there and it couldn't be used unless you have the missing pieces, which is what I meant when I said it is unfinished.

 

OK on the Cup Holder.

it looks like the cup holders in the early Ex’s and my Wife’s Navajo’s console.

Does anyone know for sure, before I buy it ?

its the same. all you would have to do is go get the tray or the cup holder insert to finish it off.

 

That’s what I was thinking, then I started to think more and got so much smoke in the room that I decided that maybe someone here that may really would want the black full length console.
I really don’t need it so why destroy it.

What do you guys think about the price ?

 

the price didn't look bad. and I would buy it if I knew I could make it work with a manual like the explorer console.

 

Tremor's and some FX4 Auto's had that full length console. Woods-Rider has one and the sub is in the console... Kinda cool

 

I have the full length one with sub in it in my truck. Looking at the 6th picture something looks off. I don't recall mine coming into two pieces or having a seem that looks like it could come apart. If you look at picture 5 then 6, it looks like two different consoles.

Is the Ranger and the Explorer mounting the same.

if i needed the tall mount and the floor mount can I get them out of an Explorer for my ’03 Ranger ?
