Cheap center console

I was over at wallymart getting oil and was looking around the interior section for floor mats came across a full length center console for a mini van. Looking at it the box had been crushed in one corner so I opened it up and it was cracked talked to the manager to see if I could get the price reduced because of the damage so she market it down from 30 to 10 dollars.
Here's some pictures in the truck.
Need to do a little trimming but it should fit pretty good and it fills the void between the seats. The big center section is big enough for a twelve pack and it will hold water, so I a'm going to foam insulate it put in a drain tube and use it as an ice chest.

great looking console, i'm sure you can hide that crack, but it doesn't look to be in the most noticeable spot already.

Thanks, the price was right and the crack is gone, used a heat gun to take the stress out of the plastic 5 minute epoxy to glue and fill the crack. Today I'll mix up some color to hide it as best I can.
When I said cheap I wasn't just talking about the price, this thing is cheaply made and pretty flimsy I will fill the underside with some expanding foam to see if it will give it some more structure but it will make a pretty good ice chest for cool beverages out on the trails.

I do miss the arm rest, but drove it around for 3 months with nothing between the seats and out here in Cali you would think the junk yards stuff was gold plated for what they want for it.
I( a'm going to figure out how to get a flip-down one attached to the inside of the drivers seat back someday, or keep looking through the yards for a decent one.

Thanks, I filled the inside with foam last night and it is still curing made the mistake of getting window and door foam instead of the g/p stuff.
Once it drys I'll finish the out side were the crack "was" and do a little painting to touch it up, other wise it fits fine and should clean up nice. I picked up a swamp cooler drain kit while I was at the hardware store to put in the drain for the "cool beverage storage area" going to need to cut a hole in the floor for the drain to go outside but other than that it is coming along nicely.
