well, I've put componants in the drivers side and prepped the passanger side. I'll have pics later tonight when I'm finished. I do not suggest anyone else to do this unless they know how to do alot of custom fabrication

Is this guy talking about front or rears? My rear components were a royal PITA. I'm going with two-ways for the doors. Not worth the trouble. The boston acoustics I have in the rear will blow your ear drums w/o the sub or front speakers.

I run nothing in the rear. Good front soundstage is a must, I hate when it sounds like im driving away from the music.

It all depends on what kind of set-up you use. If it's a low end/mild component system then yeah put it in the front. The components I have would have been wasted in the front, they're just entirely too loud. Don't get the word loud confused with distorted. Boston Acoustic makes the best components and anyone who says otherwise obviously hasn't heard a correctly installed boston setup.

I was considering the BA but I went with a pair of orion hcca 6's (same as a/d/s 315) instead. Sadly the door cant handle the mid bass. Opinion is just that. Personaly a nice focal utopia 3 way is what I want, too bad a new set is 1500.

or even CDT audio... or SEAS Lotus... well, there's even home audio speakers that sound 100,000,000,000x better than any car audio speaker.
