Welcome to R-F!!!

I was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay up in Longueuil a few years back, talk about a long drive from Ottawa.

As for the cup holder, check eBay or if you're brave, see what it would run you from the dealership.

Thanks for the welcome guys! The truck is brand new. Built 08/09 in twin cities. I searched for models with the cup holder and if what i found is right only the xl and xlt came with it. Mine is a 5speed. I will go see some rangers over the weekend to see if they have it. Dealer is asking 85$ for the cup holder and 25$ for the mounting kit. ITS A CUP HOLDER!! anyways i will keep you posted . Now its time to install tonneau cover and bed liner.

Only problem is you cant just buy the cup holder there are metal deals that go into the seat then 2 like bolts that screw in that the holder clips onto

The manuals have the cup holders on either side of the shifter. Only the autos have the seat cup holders since Ford decided the change the mini console on the floor in 04.

This cup holder is the only thing that seems to be holding up and designed good on my 05 ranger. I never knew it could come out, until the smell of rotting milk from a spilt coffee made me explore, thanks ford for the good design.

Those cup holders suck. If you get a 32 oz it would barely fit with out hitting the dash. The first time I took a corner and didn't have a hold of my drink 32oz of Dr. Pepper was all over my floor. The great thing about the rubber floor is I just got out a hose and rinsed it out. The next weekend I was ripping the seats and center console out of an FX4 05 Ranger. I just wished I had the cup holders in the seats, then I would of kept the 60/40. Now my truck is definitely only for 2 people.

I don't know about ford canada, but in USA you can take it in to ford under warranty, tell them the cupholder thing broke, and have them replace it for free if less than 36K miles. Or call the dealer, and get a price.

mine is a 08' xlt with a manual trans and i don't have that cup holder. i've got the two that are next to the shifter and the two that are integrated into the jack cover between the two jumpseats.

the two up front are big enough for a medium slurpee and that is fine for me. they also have a piece that extends to make them taller. it works great for those monsters or 355ml redbulls that are just a little smaller then the cupholder.
