Ok I got a cheap dash mat that I'm going to get rid of for a nicer one, because the one I have looks like carpet. The thing is, is that I held it on with what came with it, velcro. 2 years in the AZ sun is unforgiving to the glue and I'm not sure if Goof Off will hurt the dash?

Also is there any better way to hold these things to the dash instead? The glue got so hot that it started running down the dash on the front...

my lil brothers truck has had a dash pad since almost day one......held in by nothing but the shape of the dash.

 

Yeah I've noticed the not cheap ones seem to hold in place in other cars, wasn't sure about rangers though.

his is kind of a foamy felt-like material...idk brand name. i bought one off ebay used for $5 shipped...threw it away like a year ago. lol.

I think the company my work orders through is a company actually just called "Dash Mat"

 

i hear ya. when i got my truck it had that stupid dash mat in it. and i finally took it off when i started showin it and the stupid velcro left glue spots on the dash. i was lazy and didn't get it done yet. let me kno wat works.
