I'm getting rid of my carpet and switching to the Edge rubber flooring. My question to the people that have switched from carpet, did you put anything underneath it like sound deadener or heat shield? I wasnt sure if anything came with it. The truck is noisy as it is, I was just wondering if I needed to purchase anything else to help keep it quiet. Thanks!

 

if you buy the ford plastic it comes with matting that lays underneath it.

 

since ull have your carpet out. this is a good time to clean the bare metal sub floor. you may also want to take the liberty of putting on a fresh coat of rust prohibiting primer, as added protection before u install ur rubber floor.
