explorer power seats

may have found some local. but how easy is it to wire them up? do you just tap a power source and its all good or is it a bit more involved..

i totally agree, but they are comfy ,and leather. two of my favorite qualities in a seat

its either get these seats, or get the wet okole seat coverss lol

both would cost around the same.

Oh, and I dont like leather either lol. cold in the winter and hot and sticky in the summer but to each their own. Good luck with the install and be sure to post pics and maybe even to a how to write up!

I tapped mine into the distribution box under the hood so I had consistent power to them. Then used the bolt as the ground. I ran a single wire underneath the carpet for the passenger seat. Was not a hard install at all. The biggest pain was swapping over the seat pretensioners. A lil modding had to be done.

i just ran mine direct from the bat with an inline fuse and grounded it out right under the seat ran both seats off that one wire.

i just used an "add-a-circuit" at the fuse box inside.
